Brick Bound is designed and crafted in Bozeman, MT using high grade materials. The goal is to heirloom quality pieces as an alternative to planned obsolescence. All products are created by hand. Construction of product is with US Steer leather from Hermann Oak Tannery in St. Louis, MO. The leather is vegetable tanned leather with the use of Tannin found in the bark of certain trees. Only 5% of the leather produced in the USA uses Veg. tan method, it's time consuming and expensive but produces a superior product which is stronger, and more environmentally friendly.
